Hanoi! The city with the noisiest traffic on the planet - or at least it seems this way after the slow, easy days in Laos.
Since the streets are filled to capacity with swerving, honking (yet fully in control) motorbikes, it will be interesting to see happens once more people start getting cars instead...

I also went to see Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. Interesting factoid:
Lenin wanted to be buried and Ho Chi Minh and Mao wanted to be cremated. Contrary to these wishes, the embalmed bodies of all three are on public desplay in mausoleums.
Nobody, not even the leaders of communist single-party states, always gets what they want.
