Wish there was something more to do or say. We've been driving for a couple days, trying to reach Adigrat. We were under the impression it would take a day and a half. Its taken a full two days.
The roads were bad. Under construction in some places.
The views are breathtaking. We've taken a lot of pictures, and I'll put them up when I get'em.
But eventually the continuous strain of people and people and donkeys and sheep and cows and people can become tedious. And we're driving through mountains most of the time, with roads so winding - I actually thought I might go crazy.

The first night we spent in some shoddy hotel in Debre Sina.It was the nicest hotel we could find. And its amenities included:

-A communal hole for a bathroom

. With a permeating pleseant aroma spread throughout the grounds.
- A Room(s) With A View; of the one sink in the courtyard AKA the shower.
- Complimentary tupperware bedpan/bathroom
Some rooms include:
- vintage anitque chairs complete with missing back rests
- soothing amheric night club music

I think the rooms cost about a dollar fifty a night.
