I've Got Frozen Ants in My Pants

It's so cold in Leavenworth that my hair turns to icicles just walking to my mail box. Cold, cold, cold and no new snow for almost a month makes for less than superior skiing conditions. So, I'm ready to fly the coop, hot to trot, got ants in my pants. I want to GO!!!
We plan to stop in Tucson, Arizona for a week to visit our snowbird friends Kirsten and Cline. They promised to help us discover Tucson via, hiking, bouldering, and some general sightseeing, as well as, go to THE Gem Show, (i.e., biggest gem show in the U.S.,) which will be in full swing while we are there. Then it is off to Belize. Last night I had a dream about going on vacation with my sister and her 3 year old daughter (she's actually 23 now, but in my dream she was only 3.) We ended up staying in a fancy lodge along the Washington Coast where the skies ARE cloudy and gray. The lodge gave away the room with a view that we reserved and we had to argue with them until they finally gave us a room WITHOUT a view. We walked along the beach wrapped in our warmest coats, freezing our butts off because THERE WAS NO SUN! I went back to our room only to find my "3 year old" niece waiting for us and wanting to know where I found money for lunch because she was hungry. That's when I realized that we had forgotten her in our room. A nightmare!
I'm trying to get in more skiing to take my mind off the fact that I can't leave yet. It won't come soon enough as far as I'm concerned. I've included a number of pictures of some of my ski trips this year. More thumbnails ...
