We left Houston for Panama City Friday afternoon.  The flight wasn't bad at only 4 hours, but I took one for the team by sitting in the middle seat.  Rick got the window, and I ended up sitting next to an old woman with SERIOUS gas!  We arrived in Panama City at 6:00 pm and it was already dark.  Without much hassle we got a cab, and we were on our way to our hotel.  Since it was dark, we couldn't see much of Panama City, but downtown looked nice as we drove through.  I'm glad we didn't have to drive ourselves, beause traffic was crazy!  We have our fair share of horrible traffic and insane drivers in Houston, but driving in Panama City on a Friday night was at a whole other level.  It could best be described as loosly controlled chaos.  It took about an hour to get to our hotel, which was right next to the canal.  Again, it was dark so we didn't really get to the see the canal.  Once at the hotel we just crashed since we had an early plane flight the next morning.
