After a crappy 3 hour flight on a small plane with a crappy, seat-kicking kid behind me, I arrived in Columbus, Ohio. Amber and I grabbed some lunch at the Surly Girl restaurant (delish!) and headed over to the conservatory to check out all of the cool plants. The place had amazing gardens, but it was way too hot to walk around the outside gardens. The place had lots of cool plan collections from desert to rain forest. Oh, and bonsai trees! A botanists heaven; definitely my kind of place. After the conservatory we cruised back to Amber's place and hung out for a while and drank a few beers (ok, just 2. That is all it takes for me.)
So feeling al little happy, we went out to dinner before a rockin' night of bowling. We went to a greek place (forgot the name) that was pretty good. The flaming cheese was tasty (Opa!) and I'll admit the gyro was pretty damn delicious. It was definately better than the Greek food I've had in Houston. Anyways, it was time to bowl!

Bowl, baby, bowl
We went to a bowling alley situated, strangely, in the middle of a neighborhood and met up with more of Amber's friends. It was actually ideal, since the place was almost deserted and we didn't have to put up with any stupid people. I didn't exactly bowl my best that night, but good times were had by all. After bowling we went to a pub and chilled out on the patio with a few beers. I forgot that other parts of the country actually cool down at night and you aren't swarmed by mosquitoes! We ended the night late, but took it easy since we knew tomorrow would be a crazy day.
