Here´s another travel quote that Joss sent me:
"...you really should make a radical change in your
lifestyle and begin to boldy do things which you may
previously never have thought of doing or been hesitant to
attempt...The very basic core of man's [sic] living spirit
is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from
our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no
greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for
each day to have a new and different sun."

I have taken the harsh 12 hour bus journey from San Cristobal to Pochutla to visit the beaches of Oaxaca Epiphany
Epiphany
. We took a cheap colectivo truck from Pochutla, much to the dissapointment of the taxi drivers that swarmed us after we got off the bus, to Mazunte. Griet and I stayed at Cabanas Ziga, very nice, ocean view and tranquil environment. Unfortunately our lancha(motorboat) operator who we paid to take us snorkeling decided to "stay the course" and take us out the next morning even though the waves were huge. So we did see a few turtles which was very nice. But no snorkeling and we were all sick by the end of it. The sunset from Punta Cometa (the most southern point in Mexico) was gorgeous. I said goodbye to Griet today from Puerto Escondido, and now I am staying with two other Belgian girls we met in Mazunte. I have not yet learned to surf but I might just stick with the boogie boards. Lets hope the rain stops! My next report will be from Oaxaca city. Everybody make sure everyone you know votes next month!! And make sure to take a few moments out each day to enjoy yourselves, life is short.
