No, I don't mean 36-24-36 unless you're measuring in feet. Nor do I mean 0 to 60mph in... in Brian usually.

I'm referring to the stats page on the blog. This is not available for public viewing, just to the authors. It tells us where our viewers are (by country), weekly visitor numbers and which entries/photos get the most hits.

Rather freaky looking at the global distribution of our audience (total visitor numbers is in hundreds per month so not exactly viral). There are always a couple of places where people are reading from that we can't explain. Turkey and Iran - don't know anyone there. Russia usually provides a few readers too. So something brings people to our blog from an internet search.

Totally innocently, I titled a blog entry, 'The best thing to happen to a cucumber'. It is always on the podium for the most visited blog entries. There must be a lot of interest in pickle.

For about 18 months, a Google images search for 'Hot tub delights' would return Laura and me with friend, Eva, as the very first photo. This, sadly, changed this year. No longer were we number one. In fact we weren't even in the first umpteen pages of results. I'm quite disappointed about that, so here is the photo again and maybe that'll refresh the entry in Google's result lists?

So whilst 'My stats' does have another meaning, I don't think it'll pull more random readers than 'A lesbian in a beauty salon' from earlier this year.
