We went west and north from our B&B, stopping first at the bridge made famous in the movie, "The Quiet Man!" From there up the sky road, and through the mountains to Kylemor Abbey, and further north, northeast to Ashford Castle, (I think!) Some very tight roads, and I am very glad Jeff is doing the driving! (Audie and I would be in an Irish divorce court if I were trying to find my way around here!
Back to our B&B for a quick change, and out to dinner.
Everyone was slightly bushed, so I walked back downtown... If I were drunk, I would have stumbled into the river and drowned!
Mailed some post cards, then off to "Flahrety's Pub!" A few ciders later, and our host got he and I a ride home,saving me a tumble into the frigid stream! I handed out 5 Craic Wisely CD's to the "town father's" who all seemed to open to promoting a visit someday! On the way home, our driver cranked it up and Patrick, (our host,) was singing along... (He loved it...) The driver was impressed with "Pride," and said he will talk to the powers that be about trying to bring the band over!!!
More tomorrow... it's late and we have another early morn!

Judi's party tonight turned out well. Mo & I went. They had a good turn out. Don't forget a present for Judi, she's looking forward to something from Ireland!
