Move over The Man from Snowy River!!

Hill and I both being avid horse riders, with her still riding regularly and at a much more competent level than I, we decided to go up to the hills and do a day ride up around Mannsfield area.
We headed out with two other clients and our two guides, one of whom worked on the filming for The Man from Snowy River 2. We rode across some fabulous areas, with spectuclar views of the surrounding hills of Torbreck, Buller, and Stirling. It was a great day of riding, we stopped for a break at an old hut down in a cleared out valley, with some sheep grazing not too far away, saw up close the remaining damage from a gigantic storm in early September with trees mangled and twisted and tossed to the ground, some walks across creeks, as well as cantering across fields and along trails.
