Today was our last day but my most challenging. Why? Yes I am sad that our time is nearly done however it wasn't that - I was the next in line to go through what Chloe experienced yesterday! I had an eventful night with very little sleep - not something you want to experience just before your about to go on a massive flight home..,,not fun or something I'd recommend!

By the morning I was stable enough to face the day..,no food for me though! First thing, on the list was more I retail therapy (at Chloe's request and my seconding) at Azreli Shopping Centre. I have to say it was more of the same (we'd come because we were told there were specific brands there, but that was a bit of a stretch), so after a quick look around and a couple of 'small' purchases we left as the day was spectacular!! The friendliest taxi ride to date back to the apartment, and a quick change, we met up with the boys who were just about to leave the beach. We all hung out for a couple of hours enjoying the מים, שמש, - it was beautiful. From there we went up, changed and went to see Nehylat Benyanim markets (local Jewish traders market that operates on a Tuesday and Friday), set in the street where all the 'shmattah' (fabric) shops are. It is a gorgeous  market with some very clever things there. Well worth the visit.By then Not long after we arrived, Harry had started to say he didn't feel great and wanted to stop shopping, we thought he wanted an excuse to go home and play the iPad (a tactic he's used many times in the past and on this holiday as he has zero tolerance for shopping) ....mmm. We kept pushing on and from there we had our last 'supper' on the beachfront with the sun setting as our backdrop - we will miss Tel Aviv!!

Then back to the apartment to collect the bags and go to the airport. Once we arrived at the airport Harry hopped out of the taxi and did a Chloe special too!! Gd help us all - we were dropping like flies and we hadn't even got on the plane yet!! Dazza was last man standing. An instant mood changer for the young lad and off to customs!!

We are not looking forward to our long haul flight home for the distance and of course our state of well being (H has slept the whole way since prior to take off, lucky boy), and the hassle with the slow WiFi as I send this last entry, but it's part of living in Australia - still my favourite place to be..

We have done, experienced and seen so much and loved it!! The kids overall have exceeded our expectations (and we've certainly had our challenges) for stamina and their appreciation of all the things we've done and seen.

Appologise for all the detail but it's my only way I'll have a chance to remember anything and everything we've done!

So reluctantly but necessarily it's time for me to say bye from the Blogger and return to my regular life.

Thanks for sharing it all with us! Lxo
