16.04.09: We went to visit Noosa and the beauty of the sunshine coast. Noosa is an upmarket little town, quite chic. There are loads of canals with houses with private beaches and piers for your boat. It looks really nice. We bumped into the Welsh couple we met in Fraser island again. We drove around the coast, stopping at different beaches. Loads of beautiful houses on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. We stopped at one of those towns as it was getting pretty late.  surfer car

The camping we stopped at was full except for a spot with private toilets. We decided to give in and took it. That was so funny, it looked like a big portable loo from the outside but inside there was a sink, toilet and shower and super new! We had dinner in a surf club which was totally packed with the holidays. That's where we discovered the barramundi, a local fish. We have no idea what it is apart from being a white fish. There was a casino attached to the restaurant and after playing one dollar, Sean won ten! Yes, that will pay for some petrol!
