22/02/09: Today was going to be a long day of traveling. We took the bus in the morning in the direction of Ko Kong. The bus is comfier than before and they even give us water. The TV did not stop showing karaoke for the 5 hours. Some were bearable, some totally atrocious. Crossing the border to Thailand was pretty painless. Getting into the next bus to Trat was a bit more tricky, there was no sort of queue for vans but some people appeared to have priority as they reserved in advance. Finally, we had enough and went with two German guys in a truck bus with locals. We were squeezed and people were jumping on and off with various stuff, super large bag of rice, big Tupperware box full of ironed clothes and a huge bag of red and green peppers.

When we arrived at Trat bus station, guys were harassing you to see where you wanted to go and said the truck for the pier was leaving soon. We rushed with our bags but still had a good 10 minutes before they went. I was relieved because I feared that we would not make it to the last ferry to Ko Chang. Enjoying the fresh breeze on the boat was great. When we arrived a truck was there trying to rip us off for the ride. We didn't want to go so he left with the people who gave in. We stayed with two Austrian guys and finally had to wait for another 1h30 for the  next one to arrive. Who knew? So we decided to have a few beers instead. We arrived at around 8pm, but so happy to find our lovely bungalow. There are only three bungalows near the beach and we could hear the waves!! Aaah relax...

23/03/09. It was great to wake up on a sunny day with a view on the sea. We stayed reading on the deck for a good while, and having a dive in the warm sea. We were also given a scooter to discover the island. We decided to go to White Sand Beach only a couple of kilometers away. I don't feel safe at all when we are two on a scooter. I prefer to have the control. I keep on sticking my head to the right to see what is up ahead and Sean keep giving out that I should stay still.

24/04/09. We decided to get off our butts for a change and do something. We chose to go on a boat for some island hopping around Ko Chang. We had the opportunity to snorkel among exotic fish. They were loads of them around the boat as the guys were throwing food. The fish would never touch you though (au cas où tu serais dégoûtée, M'man). We also did a bit of fishing although neither Sean or I were lucky.  We then went on a deserted island and swan in the crystal blue water. It was like diving in a postcard. We met a nice Swedish family and two nice Dutch girls (apparently coffee shops in NL are having problems because of the smoking ban,. It is ok to some weed but not tabacco...pure joints or you cant smoke inside. We had difficulties to believe it)

I cant remember what we did the other days except chilling out, went back to white sand beach. It is nice in the evenings because they set tables on the beach. It looks very romantic.
