In two hours, we are there and from where the entrance we can see the lovely castle and the medieval town. Choi Yen was hungry and so we looked for grub first and found one just after the entrance into the town.
It was a lovely place to have lunch with its wooden benches, and lovely red flowers. Beer, juice, wine and milk (???) , what the heck , Chai Hong ordered milk here in Czech Republic. And then I ordered the lovely pork dish which only me and Yeow Seng ate . The other two were more into their vegetables and because of the E.coli scare, we decided to skip salads and have only cooked vegetables
We walk along the cobbled streets, and then came to entrance of the Ceszky Krumlov Castle, an Unesco Heritage Site. Not that many people in the caste which was nice and we walked right up to where we could have a Panaromic View of the town below.
there was an exhibition of a local sculptor held in the dungeons and we were at first intrigued by the fact that an art exhibiton would be held in three levels down of dungeon land so we went in. Never been into the dungeon but I thought is was great to have an art exhibition there. I am not a modern art enthusiast so I find the artist's exhibit weird. half man, half crocodile or whatever it was and sinks that was moulded into a shape of a jaw.. .
I need to go somewhere a little bit more normal like castle gardens and then finally ended up having tea in the prettiest part of the town, beside the river and a lovely view of the caste.
We made Peter stop at Kauf Halle to shop for dinner. And dinner at our rooftop was glorious , not so much the food though the chicken wings was great. it was more the brilliant sunset from our rooftop , with the wine ( which everyone even milk woman drank) that was so wunderbar and it ended with a treat - fireworks that night. O thank you Prague!!!
