At 8.30 am sharp, I get a call from Chris who is sharing room with Ray; "Mum, Uncle Ray doesn't want to wake up for breakfast" Knowing how not a morning person Ray is I told Chris to come over to the girls room and not disturb the man .

Morning at the Pyramid Isis certainly look much much better. The view from our room of the Nile is so pretty . We were certainly happier , refreshed and all ready to do more sightseeing. When we got down for breakfast, were greeted with such a lovely spread of salads, breads, juices. Breakfast was sumptious and we tucked in. Even when grouchy walked in to join us nearly half hour later, we were not dampened.

Clarissa and I  decided  to walk around the hotel grounds  while  the rest went back to their rooms to  pack. The rooms may not be so well maintained but the surrounding gardens were lovely . Set right in the middle of the Nile and with white feluccas sailing gracefully along the nile.  The scenery from the lush gardens of the Pyramid Isis is one of the prettiest . Very green grounds and ,colorful flowers blossoming against the clear blue sky - this is how I will always remember Aswan - loverly.... If ever I return to this country, it would be to Aswan and Mt Sinai., I would think.

We checked out and then went by boat to board the Movenpick Radamis. First time, on a luxury cruise, we got into our three bed spacious , luxuriously adorned with lovely cotton sheets  and equipped with flat tv . This is 5-star luxury and worth every extra penny for the upgrade. We had our first meal on board and the reviews were right - the Movenpick serves great food. A lovely spread and had my lovely cool beer. After lunch and I decided to venture out to buy bottled water.

The moment I was outof the liner, I was appoached by a young boy, slightly older than Chris for a ride to town in his donkey carriage . I said no  at first but later told him to come back at night after he agreed for a trip to town for RM30. After the shouting incident at Mt Sinai and the scam at the Pyramid, the kids were now petrified of any trips, rides etc. Even Ray and Annie looked at me weirdly when I told them about the donkey ride that I had organised.
