Went to Patong Beach in morning, rented a sun lounge for 100 baht each, lazed and swam for a few hours, walked back to hotel, had a shower and changed then waited downstairs. Pick up for our Phuket Town tour, drove to Karon Viewpoint (Mike and I walked along the markets and got a coconut instead of walking up for the view), next stop was an elephant camp where we played with a baby elephant and wandered through the orchid garden. Then drove to Promthep Cape, then up to Big Buddha, slightly nicer view this time as not so much scaffolding around. Chalong Temple, again we wandered through the market area, lots of fireworks being set off. Cashew nut factory was a nice little shopping destination, not too fussed with the jewellery and souvenir shop though. Then off to Phuket Town markets, only had an hour so super rushed! But we managed a quick look at some stalls, then spent most of the time in the food area. Bought some super yummy spring rolls (10 baht each), some chicken skewers (again 10 baht each), Mike had Pad Thai 80 baht. driven back to hotel after busy day.
