Mike and I woke after 8am, we had a cuppa and used the Internet. When Adrian and Ange woke up we had breakfast and started a load of our washing as we didn't want to get Mohammed to do it (he's been busy cooking for today's lunch). Hung around watching TV, reading, playing cards all morning. Grabbed a toasted cheese sandwich and cup of tea for lunch as I knew we wouldn't be eating till late.

Helene's family started arriving late in the afternoon and it was like being on the set of "My Big Fat Greek wedding" - noisy, loud, lots of talking, laughing, hugging and kissing, but loads of fun. Hard to understand them sometimes as they seem to slip from Arabic to Greek and back again in one conversation. In spite of not being able to talk much, we really enjoyed spending time with the, all, they are such a lovely welcoming family. We played with some of the young kids (there are heaps of boys) especially Adrian who got to show off his skateboarding and soccer skills. I got a nurse of the 2 new little baby girls, who were only a couple of weeks old. Lunch was at 4:30 and was a magnificent spread, then there were the most delicious cakes - shame we can't take one of them home.

Everyone left and the kids went out with Joe, Lina, Tarek, Sandra and her fiancé, and several of Joe's friends. Mike and I hung out with Helene and watched some more of the Turksih soap operas that I'm getting addicted to.
