Hung around the house in the morning using the Internet and watching TV. Got a lift about 12 with Helene to City Stars mall and wandered around looking. Angela had to empty her bag at the entrance then again as we were going into Spinney's hypermart and was not happy about doing that.

The girls were sitting on the edge of one of the gardens and were told to move (in Arabic) by a security guard, so I pointed out that there were some Arab women sitting along further and told him to move them too. He wasn't going to, but I kept telling him "yalla" so he eventually did.

Stopped in food court area for a bite to eat - I tried a Cinnabon roll (yummo!) and cappucino. We called Helene who picked us up after work. As we were waiting we counted at least 12-15 taxis that drove past, slowed down and honked at us. Even the people walking past us kept staring, whispering and giggling (obviously not used to seeing Westerners). The girls started getting pissed off and did the same thing back at them.

Adrian and Ange went out with Joe - first to Schutz, then to a bar which was way too smoky for them. Alanna still not feeling well so went to bed early.
