Woke pretty early and after having a shower, getting dressed and eating breakfast, I went down and used the Internet while waiting for the girls to get ready. We walked down to the textile souk and started some serious browsing again. Ange stocked up on pashminas, I got some cushion covers. We also looked for the camera that Adrian and Ange wanted to buy. The weather really had changed overnight and a sandstorm had blown up, the air was thick with sand and it was really hard to breathe. At least it was cooler so it was a pleasant temp to be out walking. We caught an abra across the creek again and this time we wandered through the spick souk, and then the gold souk again. There are so many little lanes and alleyways leading off the main ones that it would be so easy to take a wrong turn and get lost. Ange and I went into a shop and asked to see the biggest ring in the window so we could try it on for a photo. We also walked into every shop that sold electronics and cameras looking for the camera that Adrian and Ange were after. Hardly anyone seemed to have the model they wanted, but a couple told us a price and said they would get it in later in the day.
We decided to go and eat at the cafe that we found the other day. Burger this time for me, steak sandwiches for the girls, pizza for Adrian and tamiya for Mike. And of course we had their juice again. After coffee, tea and milkshakes we headed out again to buy the camera. Trying to find the same shops again was pretty hard as after a while all the streets and all the shops started to look the same. Adrian somehow managed to remember which way we had to turn and we found one shop, only to be told that they couldn't get it after all. So we found the other one and they bought it from there as well as an XD card for Alanna's camera. Wandered a bit more through some of the back streets down to the abra station and caught one back across the creek. Every time we had to cross roads, Adrian was calling out "cross, cross, cross". We wandered through the textile souk again, stopping to look at wall hangings and cushion covers. Pulled out a stack in one shop but weren't happy with the price, so we went into another one and found one I absolutely loved. And Mike managed to get the price down from 350dhs to 150dhs so I was pretty happy with that. We were all dry and tired so we stopped at the Basta Cafe again for the same juice. Staggered back, exhausted, to the hotel, watched some TV then headed off to bed.
