Left the boat around 7:30am to begin the trip to Hurghada. Arrived around 1:30pm. Hotel nothing fancy but there was a nice pool. Walked down for lunch at local restaurant, joined by the 6 Aussies. Then we headed to the beach at a resort which we were allowed access to. The beach was gravelly, the water freezing and the place overrun by huge Russians, but it was nice to lie in the sun and relax after another long drive. Went back for a swim in the hotel pool, then wandered around and found a great little local place for dinner - foul for Mike and felafel and bread for me.
