Met group on Sunday night - 9 Aussies, 5 Canadians, 1 English. Lovely group of people. First morning piled into minibus for Pyramid tour. Mike and I also did the inside tour of the Great Pyramid., then drove up to plateau for panoramic views, then down to Sphynx. Lunch at Felfelas. Drove to Alexandria, just in time for sunset along Corniche. Checked into hotel then wandered up to markets and dinner.

Tuesday 8/4 - Tour of Alexandria sights. Visited museum, Roman ampitheatre, Pompeys pillar, catacombs. Lunch a a tavern. drove back to Cairo and boarded overnight train to Luxor. Shared bottle of red with Aussie ladies. Drank and danced in club car before bed.
