On the way to Seattle we crossed the Columbia River. It was spectacular.
Arrived in Seattle about 1:00 pm. We toured the Pikes Place Fish Market. I did not toss any fish. It is very crowded - a lot of tourists.
Patty insisted on stopping at the original Starbucks. It was also very crowded. The photos will prove my point.
We then took a tour of Underground Seattle. Did you know that at one time a part of downtown Seattle was below street level and because it was always being flooded by the tides, the City decided to raise the streets one level. So the second floor of all the buildings suddenly became the first floor.
We are staying at the Mediterranean Hotel in the Queen Anne neighborhood. This is a great old hotel and very reasonable for downtown. The bus stops just one block from the hotel so we rode the bus all over town. I did not get a chance to see Kirk or Eddie. I guess I could not have seen Kirk

Leonard and Patty,
You brought 'sunshine' to Seattle.
Enjoy your trip.

It's Kurt. No wonder people looked at you like you were crazy.
Things that make you go hmmm....
OK, let me get this straight...LG goes to Seattle, pays homage to grunge rockers, but doesn't visit the grave of Jimi Hendrix. I expected more...perhaps Patty should have been in charge of the itinerary.
Have fun on the cruise!
