Waterfall
If you discount the all day rain, overcast and stormy clouds and the 50 mph winds, it was a typical Kauai day. Even though we got a little wet and wind blown, it was great fun to see all the television and movie locations.
South Pacific
My favorite was the beach and lagoon where South Pacific was filmed. You saw the beach where the sailors sang Bloody Mary and did all of their other singing and dancing, plus we could see Bali Hai in the distance. Other great sites were Gillian's Island, Fantasy Island,
At the Fantasy Island Location
Jurassic Park, King Kong, Raiders of the Lost Arc, and Blue Hawaii.
Gilligan's Island
There are way over 100 movie locations in Kauai. Among the natural sites we visited were Wailua Falls, Opeaekaa Falls, Moloaa Bay, Hanamalulu Bay, and Kong Mountain. There are hundreds of entertainment personalities that make a home or second home in Hawaii. As for me, I'll take Florida. Tonight we saw a great Broadway show song production.
