Because our hot dogs were lame, we decided to detour to Philly for "a" cheese steak. The problem was that there were 2 iconic meat stands to choose from. We went with Pat's King of Steak, 1 cheese steak, wit onions, cheese whiz, and some delicious red-colored sauce. It was fantastic; but at the same time we felt guilty for choosing Pat's over Geno's.....so we decided to order another cheese steak, this time from Geno's. Same order, but with an extremely hot red sauce. This meat roll was not nearly as good as Pat's, in fact, the hot sauce ruined the entire thing for Evan. Pat's was by far superior. Overall rating: Pat's=9.25 Geno's=7.75. We also might have ruined some bed sheets that night, and most certainly paid the price to the porcelain gods for eating so much.
ROAD NOTES: Interesting things seen on the road (around Jersey); Trailer being dragged down the highway (no wheels). Girl sleeping on the back of a motorcycle going 65+ MPH.

Philly Cheesesteaks
I wish I knew you were doing this sooner! The real spot for an authentic Philly cheesesteak is John's Roast Pork in South Philly. Just ate there a week ago and it blows Pats out of the water. The bread is sooooo amazing, it makes the sandwich. have fun on your culinary tour!
