After an amazing sleep (for me, not Stephen poor thing) we tackled a huge breakfast which included white and black pudding. It just doesnt get beter than that for Stephen. Back to Trinity college to view the Book of Kells. Beautiful, ancient manuscripts of the four gospels then a wander through their amazing library. Dublin mall full of buskers, sand sculpters and living statues. Really wished we had more time here. Time to say good bye to our lovely wacky hotel and take to the road. Gps not working so we went old school and used maps!! And we made it with only a few wrong turns. So impressed with us. Go Bignills
Kinsale is a beautiful quaint village on the harbor ,with narrow cobbled streets and baskets of flowers hanging outside of shops. Full of history. We are hoping to go on a history ramble tomorrow. Its a long weekend here so we may have to do our own ramble. This is supposed to be the gourmet capital of county Cork. Looking forward to testing that out. Our b&b is fine. Good location but I miss my wacky hotel. Only our second night in Ireland and I feel like I have been away foever.Life is very good.
