8- 11am
Another gem of a day, just go with the flow and it's usually better than good.  We made plans for a daytrip to Cabo Pulmo  for snorkeling and  checking out the area.  The drive was nice, and as usual, a bit hard in terms of the mountainous curves and what they do to me physically -  whoa, breakfast burrito (we had to stop in San  Pedro for breakfast and cocadas).  Then through the sleepy towns of El Triunfo, San Antonio and El Bartolo.

The little things - cows along the roadside, occasional lizards and roadrunners, waving at the construction workers and viewing the beaches and sailboats once in Los Barilles.  And then a LONG drive down a dirt road to the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park Reserve.

We stopped at the first beach we came to and talked to some guides and a group that was returning from scuba dive.  We learned that the winds were high today and that the 'best snorkeling in Cabo' could be found about 4 beaches/4km down the dusty road.  The smaller coves would also provide protection from the wind.

But first, a stroll down this beach.  We grabbed a couple of beers and after passing the first group of beach goers, we found the stretch deserted.  The farther we walked, the more coral we found washed up on the shore.
After 10 minutes of walking and still, no others, I got the notion that it could only be more perfect with less clothes.  It was true! With the shirt off, I
enjoyed the wind, waves, sun and solitude (I think I’m a nudist ‘wanna be’ at
heart).

Explored some tide pools
- watching the crabs climbing on the rocks, darting in and out of
nooks and crannies, and jumping back into the sea.

Time to find the small coves and check out the snorkeling…
