As I walked back to my accomodation to get some sleep I started seeing locals exercising in the main square. There were a group of elderly men playing keep-ups with a weighted shuttlecock, they were really good at keeping in airbourne for long periods of time. They saw my interest and invited me to join in with them, it is much more difficult then it looks, but they make it look effortless with acrobatic moves, whilst they enjoy joking to one another and telling stories. One of the men spoke good english, he was a pilot for cambodian airlines. He asked about my and my travels and I took interest when he told me about Cambodia. After working up a sweat with the older guys I ended up agreeing to send a postcard to one of them (he works for the Cambodian foreign affairs office and his friends work with the Cambodian Olympic committee (my connections! lol)) around Christmas and he would do the same. I eventually got to bed at 10am, exhausted from the busy day yesterday and lack of sleep. I awoke at around 4:30pm, still tired, I slumped out of bed and eventually made it downstairs at around 5pm. Airian, Adrian and Steve said we were going to go out but we eventually ended up staying in the restaurant of Okay Guesthouse. Weary and still tired I headed to bed at around 1pm.
