Today I ventured to Ulu Watu beach, where I spent 90 minutes aosking up the sun, the sounds of the ocean and the surfers riding the swell. After I was planning on heading up to Kuta but on the long and winding road back Christian and John saw me and saved me rfom the searing heat. They asked me if I would like to join their possie for some raging times and barrels of laughter at the bombastic Balagan Beach. Without a moments thought I headed back to my hut, grabbed my bag (and my backpack!) and met up with their friends; Tim, John, Charlie and Yarnie. Balagan was a nice beach with some monster waves. I paddled in for a swim near the waves but it was a bit dodgy as the waves were powerful and the tide low, so I played it safe by chilling on the beach, having a burger and a full body massage (for 50,000Rp). After my indulgences I hanged out on the beach chatting to my new accomplices and eventually we headed back. On the way back I found out they didn't have a room for me so John and Christian did the christian thing and let me stay at their gaff. In the evening we dined at a local favourite of the boys and everyone sampled John's approved milkshakes (unfortunately contributing to Charlie's Bali Belly!!) After everyone was pretty tired so headed to John and Christian's mansion hut fr some shut eye.
