Today we went off to Queenstown, on the way we stopped off at the really cool puzzleworld. This place has all different types of puzzles and optical illusions and has some great images. There was the giant maze, which was really confusing, it took us nearly an hour but we solved the maze. There were really funny rooms also, where you had holographic faces on the walls that followed you as you moved around the room. The slanted room, where everything looks slanted although its straight. There was also the pool table which was slanted downwards, but when you rolled the cue ball, it roll up the table, defying gravity. Just before we left we stopped in the cafe, playing with the puzzles laid out on the tables whilst eating our bacon sandwiches. We also got really cool photos of the leaning clock tower of puzzle world, where it looks like James and me are holding it up. We eventually arrived in Queenstown, where the scenary was absolutely stunning. Queenstown is so cool because it can be really great at night, a good night out, but also it has loads and loads of adrenaline activities and normal activities, the best being the Nevis Bungy and the Canyon Swing. Also the scenary is some of the best scenary I have seen in New Zealand, amazing mountainside (the 'remarkables' from the Lord of the Ring films) and brilliant lake. Jo, Lloyd, Lisa, James and me spent the day walking around the town, we had one of the legendary Fergburgers (which everyone goes on about who has been to Queenstown), they are absolutely massive and gorgeous. After sampling the Fergilicious burgers we went back to our hostel had some dinner and went out to the World Bar where you can have teapots filled with cocktails and other querky drinks. I got ridiculously drunk, everyone else was quite drunk. A fun night was had by all.
