Tues Sep 14th - Day 132
The overnight arrival of several gallons of lactic acid to our limbs lead to a day of restricted movement.

We swapped the Daya Hotel for the cheaper Pantai Inn, and explored a little of downtown KK in a kind of constipated shuffle. We ate plenty and lay down often.

Expenses (RM7/pound): Accom 64, laundry 16, internet 21, Oz LP 139, phone 3, post 61.90, lunch 10, dinner 41.30

Wed Sep 15th - Day 133
Rene started feeling unwell at about midnight, and lets just say the bathroom was fully utilized throughout the night. I lasted until about 6am, and then joined the party.

I ventured out at about 10am to buy some water and made it back without any embarassments. After that, we didn't move from our beds until about 8pm, when we checked our emails and tried to eat some food.

Expenses: Accom 64, water 4, internet 5, dinner 21, biscuits 5.3

Thursday Sep 16th - Day 134
I woke at 2.45am, still feeling dodgy, and couldn't get back to sleep. I flicked silently through the channelso n the portable TV in our room, and to my amazement found a channel showing live Champions League football. It was Lyon v Man United, and had just kicked off.

Obviously I knew it was Champions League night, but so far our TV had only produced 4 Malaysian language channels and the Discovery channel, so to stumble across Sky Sports coverage was fantastic, despite Richard wolfman Keys. They even showed the highlights from all the other nights games, including Liverpools win over Monaco, Mr Frisks head injury in the Roma match, and a downbeat looking Michael Owen, who with his new Real Madrid team mates losing 3-0, still wasn't brought on. As far as Mr Comacho's concerned (who had no say in his purchase) Michael is number 4 striker behind Ronaldo, Raul and Morientes, and he took a pay cut to join. What was he thinking?

Are you sensing I'm missing having people to talk football with? Rene is kind of interested, but after a couple of minutes her eyes start to glaze over and she loses the will to listen. Back to sleep at 6am.

We were in no rush to get up, we felt much better than yesterday but still not right. Eventually we did venture out for some lunch and a stroll about, but we soon had to lie down again.

Our plan had been to catch a ferry to an island called Labuan on Wednesday, but now we're hoping to travel tomorrow, it's a 3 hour trip, so we need to be feeling pretty good.

Expenses: Accom 64, lunch 57.60, toiletries 63.20, internet 6, drinks 1, dinner 5.20.
