Nassau is not our favorite Port of Call. Perhaps that's because we remember it when it was a sleepy little town with friendly people and dusty streets. We were there a couple of summers ago and it didn't even resemble the place we saw in the 60's but I guess that's progress. Today their main shopping area is in an enclosed mall which gets you out of the heat. One day I would like to go to the Bahamas and visit some of the smaller, non-commercialized islands. We left port at noon, beginning our journey towards St. Thomas. Tonight was our first formal night on board.
