Girlfriend Brenda (Foster) picked me up from Noreen's at 9 a.m. so we could have a visit over breakfast and then she took me to Lethbridge City Hall, to wait for Noreen to get off work at 11:30 for our drive to Regina.  We made a couple of pit stops but arrived in Regina, on schedule at 6 p.m. to the Super 8 Motel where mom and dad were waiting for me in the suite I booked. Noreen came in for a few minutes to say to them and then mom and dad and I ordered some KFC.  The next day we went to Rodney Hanson's 80th Birthday party at the Willidahl's in Emerald Park, complete with a live polka band with Rodney on keyboard and his brother Mickey on Sax and Clarinet.  The  Annual Labour Day CFL Sask. Roughriders vs Winnipeg Blue Bombers game was on Sunday and  football fans filled the city, including the Super 8 and Trifons Restaurant, where we met my neice Miranda from Saskatoon for breakfast.  Went right to Laurie and Joel's for  a welcome home for me.  Took pictures off their beautiful deck which overlooks a stream of the Qu'Appelle River.
