Arrived in Ostersund Sweden

Hello from Sweden, where I am enjoying the company and hospitality of relatives! I arrived last night on schedule at 7 p.m. via SHip from Riga, to Stockholm, bus to a Metro station then Metro to Central Train Station in Stockholm, printed out my boarding pass booked online and got on the train to Sundsvall at 12:30 op.m. changed to a regiona line at 4:30 and arrived here at 7. Had a lovely meal and a good sleep and am now doing laundry and reading emails before visiting some other relatives tonight. THe SHip was ok, lots of room as few passengers, my cabinmates were a mother and daughter, mother born in Russia moved with parents when 3 years old as part of Soviet relocation of Russians into its Republics, 25 year old daughter born in Latvia but had to take citizenship course to get Latvian citizenship since the end of communism, both now live in Sweden. We talked until about 12:30 am as both were fluent in English Also met a young Latvian hight school student, fluent in English, Latvian, Russian, German who is in final year of school in Falun, Sweden so we all took the bus-Metro together to get to our respective trains and I thought after, it was ironic, they all live in Sweden but I ws only one with Swedish blood! Anyway I heard the 2 sides of the Russian,Latvian story from Ilone and Tanya and Anna! It was an interesting evening but return trip i will try to watch the Karaoke in the bar, which sounded like fun. There is snow here, first Ive seen since the bit in Karlovy Vary. Ostersund is about 62 degrees latitude so as the train went north, I could see more and more snow. Still not a lot,but looks at least a little like winter.
