I am Prague right now, having taken a day long train from Warsaw where I stayed at Nathan§s Villa Hostel. Had a city tour of Warsaw, which was rebuilt 85 percent after WWII. Am leaving Prague today for Karlovy Vary but Prague is amazing, had a city walking tour yesterday for four hours; walked down Wenceslas square, across the Charles Bridge and into the Palace grounds - got to be the most beautiful city i've been in so far, and I've been impressed with them all - the history, the wars, battles, change of country boundries, political regimes, the rebuilding. I had to leave Prague before i was ready, although the hostel I was in was the worst so far but really close to Wenceslas Square. Am taking a bus to Karlovy Vary, an old spa city from the 1300's where I am going to spend a few days 'taking the water cure'. One thing i noticed since I left Russia is that there are no guards at hotels, shops, etc asking what your business is, and Russia is the only country where tap water cannot be drank. Really warm in Prague, everyone is saying how much warmer than normal it was, as in Warsaw as well.
