We stayed at the cabin for three and a half days. It is tucked away deep in the Garnett Mountains and takes about an hour to drive to on a dirt road. When we pulled up to the cabin it blew away all expectations that I had. It was in the perfect spot right by a cold mountain stream and had a tremendous view of the hills and valleys. We set up our hammocks on the porch and made ourselves at home. After relaxing and listening to the calming sounds we took a hike up to a close by hill to watch the sunset. I don't think that I have ever slept as good as I did those few days. The next day we did a little work around helping stack woodpiles and took a dip in the creek. The whole weekend was relaxing and we really just sat around and read. The last night we were there we drove up the mountain to see some friends of Boo and Drew's named Jodie and Linda. We had a great time just hanging out and conversing about life.
