Flag of Ireland  , County Cork,
Wednesday, July 20, 2011

We rented our last car from our Cork Enterprise and it was without question, the coolest car one could ever dream of driving. We called it the Blue Bullet. A name it earned by its powder blue color and 1L engine. Cool took on a whole new meaning as we cruised this sexy beast to nearby Kinsale and its surrounding area.

While in Kinsale we had lunch at Fishy Fishy which has been continuously recommended to us by countless people since we arrived in Ireland. Fishy Fishy has rightfully earned its good reputation. Their fish pie was seriously amazing. Our high expectations for the restaurant were not disappointed.

We also explored the Charles Fort. The remnants of this star shaped fort were able to entertain us explorers for hours on end. Following the Charles Fort, we headed to Old Head and then onwards to the blue flag beach at Garretstown. We concluded our day at the Speckled Door where we sipped drinks and listened to Dolly Parton's greatest hits as we enjoyed the view.

Traveling in style,
Leann and Robyn
