I am skipping a few days of our trip only because they consisted of a lot of traveling and not many interesting tales to tell, except for these two...

Friday (September 25) we left Iguazu falls to return to Buenos Aires. We arrived at the bus station at 4:15 for a 4:30 bus and checked with the women at the bus kiosk to make sure our bus was still on time. She confirmed that our bus would arrive soon in gates 4 through 6 and the company would be Via Bariloche. So we waited and watched a few buses come and go. At 4:39 we were beginning to wonder where our bus could be when a woman who worked in the station ran up to us and asked if we had tickets for the 4:30 bus to BA. I showed her my ticket and she ran off with it yelling "Ven! Ven" (Come on! Come on!). We followed her as she went running after the bus that had just pulled out of the station. Ooops, we had missed our bus completely. For whatever reason, the company written on the side of this bus was Expreso Tigre, but apparently this was our bus. The women had someone call the driver and ask them to stop, a taxi raced us over to the bus, which had luckily not left town yet. So we made it safe and sound thanks to the kind people working at the Puerto Iguazu bus station!

Sunday was our journey to Punta del Diablo (a small fishing village on the north east coast of Uruguay). It began with a ferry ride across the bay between Buenos Aires and Colonia, Uruguay then a bus to Montevideo, Uruguay; then another bus from Montevideo to Punta Del Diablo. This all would have been a standard day of traveling except for the fact that it was a cold, rainy, and very windy morning. Letīs just say the seas were high and no one took their dramamine that morning. Luckily Rob and I do not get seasick; but there comes a point when you can only listen to other people vomiting for so long! I finally had to listen to my ipod so as not to be completly grossed out. We posted a video of the rocking ride, listen closely and see if you can hear some ralphing. ENJOY!
