Tenting Sorrento

On the train to Sorrento. Made our way to the camping village and pitched the tent without any problems. Headed into town to look at the shops of which there were many. Mostly souviner shops with plenty of junk in them, most notibly lemon shaped objects with a variety of uses or non uses, wooden boxes, sandals, pashminas, aprons and paintings.
Decided we needed a beer but we couldnt find one for less than 4 eros (which is expensive) so ended up having a beer away from the crowds near this cute garden and very happening kids playground. Had tea which we were very impressed with as although the pizza was average (do they even know how to make pizza here) they brought out a whole tray of nibbles before the meal!
Sunday was painful and it still pains me to talk about it. Planned to go to nearby Almalfi and Positano on the bus so headed for the bus station and JUST missed the 10:30 bus by SECONDS. The lady in charge took the small group of people waiting to the bus stop where the next bus would leav from. In that hour waiting fro the next bus about 50-100 people had joined us. A bus stopped to let people off and those pushy fucking Italians surged. They ended up dropping the people on the bus in a different location. The lady in charge tried assured our group who had been there the longest that we were the start of the queue but when the bus pulled up we didnt get on. So angry. Hung around the pool instead but had to buy a crazy swimming cap to go in. Ate tea in the camp restaurant which was actually really good and the Irish couple we had met by the pool were having issues with Gin Rummy which we were keep to join in but they still hadnt got thier tea by the time we had left.
