Going through passport control of my own country, I was rather ashamed of a couple of the employees. One of them was directing the non-American residence to what line they should go to for passport control and was rude to the non-English speakers and even said "If you can't speak English, what are you doing here!" After having lived the past 11 months in two countries where I didn't know the language when I arrived there and am still not anywhere near a fluent speaker... I greatly appreciated anyone who was patient with me while making my way through any of the airports I have been to. And then I return to my own country.. a country created by immigrants... and this jerk says that out loud!
