Our morning started with a 30 minute drive to the Disney Resort in Anaheim, California. The area has changed a lot over the last 10 years. The area is very much more built up, new Car Parks, and a new theme park. As we had never done the California Adventure and had done the Magic Kingdom in California, Florida and France - we figured we would go for the new park.
The Park is based on California, and a number of places we will visit over the next few days, we started on a ride which made you feel like you were flying through a 360 degree movie of California. We also went on a Roller Coaster called California Screem'in, Caroline wasn't sure - but with promise of lunch she agreed, she tells me she had her eye's closed for all but 4 periods of the ride and missed the 360 degree loop.
We pottered around the park for the rest of the day having a good Disney time, watched the Pixar parade, and headed home back to the madness of LA driving, nothing brings you faster out of Never Never land.
I promise if there had been Mickey I would have got a picture taken, but alas he was busy.... :-)
Distance Traveled To Date: 120 miles
Today we head off to Barstow and a bit of Route 66.
