Firstly, let me introduce you to our Hire car for the next 3 weeks, so far am pleased to report we are getting on very well, I was banned from hiring a Zed by Caroline, but being Japanese the Mazzer does do something no American car will ever do - go around corners,
We started off by going to the Observatory, which has a Planetarium
The location of the Observatory also lends itself to some of the best views of the Hollywood sign, Caroline took a picture, I know it does look like something made from one of the Photo booths, only missing having a famous person in with me.
The Planetarium had a show, which went through the history of space mapping, done with a mixture of old Planetarium methods, and new computer graphics / animation. It was brilliant, and anyone who ever finds themselves in LA its worth a look.
From there we drove to see Travel Town, which houses Railway Memorabilia,
Excellent first day, the weather has just picked up over the past couple of hours, tomorrow we are off to Disney.
