We drove for about a 100 km to Wurzburg where we had lunch with menus that had NO English.  We all basically ordered blindly, but it turned out pretty well none the less.  WJ and Judy learned to ask for still water and that they served it in a wine glass.  This was also the beginning of the dessert marathon.  Judy and WJ figured that if the other three of us were going to order multiple beers...they would order dessert at every meal!

Getting to lunch was not easy.  We could not figure out the map and the roads we were on....we were all half asleep too, but everyone was patient and we worked it out.  After lunch,  we walked around the DOM (cathedral) for a while.  Then, we loaded back in the car and got turned around AGAIN while we were trying to find the Marienberg Fortress on top of a hill.  We did find it, and yes, it started raining hard!  We got our umbrellas and jackets and went for a walk around the wall of the fortress as well as the vineyard.  It would have been nicer without the rain, but we all enjoyed it anyway.

Then, we were on our way to Bamberg ....
