Hue was a short but amazing city. After getting a few hours to settle in our rooms, the entire group took off on a motorbike tour. We started at 10 am and finished around 4 pm...all of our time spent on a motorbike touring around to sights. This was a great way to travel the way the locals do. Our group looked like a gang of bikers. All 13 of us would climb on the back of a bike and hold on! We visited the Imperial Citadel, Tu Duc Tomb, a pagoda where we saw monks chanting, incense makers, conical hat maker and a monestary for a vegetarian lunch! Our local tour guide did a great job. He had great English, told funny jokes and used this hysterical mime type movements to entertain us too. This truly was one of the highlights of the tour.

Wow!!
Your adventure continues. The pictures are amazing and I envy your exposure to so many wonderful sites. Thank God you are staying safe and healthy. We miss you here is the states. Keep those postings coming. EEH graduates later this month. Love to you both. Aunt Janie
