Singapore!  Consumerism finale!  East meets west, with everything in between!
Singapore has pockets of cultures, Little India where you can nearly get ink for those dots on your head, Chinatown where you can get everything but your feet bound, Arab Street where you buy Texas Crude by the barrel, etc, etc.  Everything is really authentic and accessible!
We loved Singapore!  The MRT (Mass Rapid Transport) is ultra efficient and cheap letting you go anywhere in the city for about 50c.  Trains are every 3-4mins.  And so everyone uses it!  Of course Jeremy had to go in rush hour to experience the sandwich feeling!  But its too easy to travel, too easy to shop (the shops are incredible), and way too easy to get 'good' coffees!  Prices are about what they are in NZ and NZD$1 = SNG$1.

Singapore Flyer the first night to scope the city by night!  This is the largest Observation Wheel in the world and quite high enough thank you!
Made it to Jurong Bird Park, Singapore Zoo (excellent), and also the Night Safari (even better).
The Night Safari is through a large section of the Zoo at night and has all the nocturnal animals.  The animals are really active!  Hyenas, Lions, Tigers, Owls, etc, etc.. but no photos because you cant use a flash!

Its certainly the 'fine' city everyone talks about!  We will bear in mind that Singapore is certainly a great place to stopover for a few days on the way through to somewhere!  We are now recovered after our 'walk' and Jeremy has some new sandals after they also broke on the 'walk'.

On to Johor Baru over the causeway!
