Wasn't feeling well so Lawrie didn't mind me sleeping in a bit.
Today was just our day to roam.
We leave for Washington tomorrow, so we were determined to see as many remaining casinos as we could. Have really taken a shine to Vegas- it's just so plastic, over-the-top, and fabulous. Totally unlike anywhere else on earth. Well worth the visit.
One of the highlights of today was that we went to a fantastic car museum- cars ranging from about $15,000 to $2.5 million and all of them for sale. Even though I'm not a motor head in any way at all, it was still very interesting.
Probably the scariest thing was the fact that Caesars Palace houses a Celine Dion shop! That's right- toy frogs, cd's, t shirts, pens and more and ALL of it Celine!!
Ended the day by visiting the Luxor- an egyptian themed casino inside a huge black glass pyramid.
One thing that really surprised me was how HUGE the interior of these casinos are.
Yep- love Vegas. Have to come back (although in the winter next time).
