We decided to hit the road for a day trip first stop was Gaiole in Chianti just north of Siena, pretty drive up the mountain, but not much in the town once we arrived. On to Radda in Chianti, now this place was much nicer. Ended up having lunch in the park Prawns & Rucola (rocket) on bread rolls. A storm look like closing in on us but passed by.

We drove to Castellina in Chianti and tried some wine tasting but didn't buy. We did find a wine jug but took some time deciding on the pattern.

As it was still early we decided to push on to San Gimignano to get re-acquainted with this beautiful town. Had a beer in the piazza and watched the tourist, found the hotel we stayed at last time and contemplated shortening our time in Siena and staying here again for a few days.

Decided not to

But did decide to come back tomorrow, such a great place, good vibe
