Hey, I made it!  Finally in Texas, I feel like the ball is rolling!

Everything in my life moves slowly.  It is part of the ADHD thing, along with serious deptession along with god know what!

New conclusion:  I have been spending way too much time in a negative state of mind!  Something about the Texas sun gets me up and going again.

The trip down was a lot easier this time.  I zipped along and made Dallas by the third day (it took me five days the time before, hey I am getting the hand of it).

I spent a wonderful day in Dallas with past trustee and great friend Lew P.  We visited one of the spanish meeting at their intergroup.  Everyone figured I was another dumb gringo until I opened my mouth...boy were they surprised!

Gawd I hate it!  I have been working at this Spanish thing for years now.  I got it again...it just drives you nuts!  "When you learn how to speak better Spanish...we will understand you better"...Probably true, sometimes I don't like probably true.

I was sad to find out. the boat is not in as good shape as I left it....the sun here is killer!  It is time to varnish the wood work and that gives me a good reason to indulge in one of my character defects, procrastination and lasiness.

How things change...when I am in Colorado, I am busy with my group and my life there...when I am in Texas, my life dream seems possible again.  Do you think I will really do this?  "Sell out and Sail Up" as the book suggests?

A hard look at the boat suggests I have a lot to do to get it done  Every time you move forward one step, seems you move back two.  For example, we have direct current D.C. 17 Year Chip by a Friend of Bill's
17 Year Chip by a Friend of Bill's
and alternating current A.C. on the boat.  Two plugs for very different power needs.  Sure enough, I plugged the AC computer into the DC power source and lots of things are not working...lights for example.

At least I got the boat a bit more organized...wonder what marine electricians want per hour....

Then there is the old lost your cell phone thing...I finally got the energy to drive to Houston and re-apply for the missing passport...cost $180.00 and I was sure I was missing something but so lost in my attention deficit I did not realize the phone was gone...probably this time for good.  There we have it again  I got the passport application done...took me three years the time before, so I am making progress-but I lost my cell phone in the process.

I could bitch all day if you have the patience...I am very fortunate, and pray for those who are suffering out there...god has his plan but it does not make a lot of snese to me sometimes...Hey I will keep in touch, and hope you do too....enlavidanueva@yahoo.com
