      Eddie Sotelo appeared to me to be a very genuine person when I met him outside of Albuquerque.  He has a wonderful story of rags to riches, of finding the American dream.  Now it is time to practice what he preaches, and after meeting him, I am sure he will. 

    At the end of the day, perhaps we can begin a dialog between my Latino brothers and all the rest of us about how best to work together to pass meaningful immigration reform.  The oppression of our undocumented workers remains a travesty in the U.S.  We cannot claim to be a free nation and at the same time apply the laws differently to entire sections of the people living in this great nation.
