Well after our amazing upgrade on our flight (wink wink Hulia)! We were soo grateful hun, we have done loads of shopping, as we were right opposite Macy's!Yay..which proved to have many advantages, including a free make-over every morning! Have spent a minor fortune on make-up and I just had to buy the edible body powder glitter..in Mai Tai cocktail..(only in Amercia huh)! You will all have to try it on our next night out girls..you'll just wanna eat yourself up! Minor hurdle with the language, as nobody appears to understand what I am saying and everytime I go to Starbucks I end up with a completely different order! How bizarre.
It also appears that 40% of San Francisco are homeless and me and Sarah felt really bad, so we kept giving up our change..good job we have left now, or we would be on the street give it another week! Everybody has been really nice in San Francisco though, apart from quite a few people asking if I was trying to find the yellow brick road..which I didn't understand for the first half of the day..then I realised, when the nice tram driver advised me... that my 'easy go whilst on the move plaits', were the issue...and they all thought I resembled Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz..It started to grate once I realised!
Have just got off the plane from a thirteen hour flight, so have been up 30 hours now.. NOTE TO SELF: I must not raid the make-up counter at the airport before a thirteen hour flight ever again, as i got off looking like Alice Cooper and passport control gave me some very odd looks. NOTE TO SELF II: I must also never ever smoke a cigarette in haste before removing my nicorette patch..it made me feel very floaty and a bit nauseous! Love Laura xxx More thumbnails ...
