It's NOT a dry heat!

We're from Phoenix. Arizona. Where it is hot. In fact, it was 116 in Phoenix today.
It was over 100 in San Clemente today. PLUS it was humid. And, no one has AC out here in their homes! So, we were a bit hot...
The rental is GREAT. Two bedrooms, very nicely remodeled, not all weathered with buckling floors or bubbling paint, like you usually see at a rental 3 blocks from the beach. Leather couches, marble countertops, nice beds. Master bath is killer.
But we're hot. It's going to be tough to sleep tonight. We walked down the hill (and it's quite a hill) to check out the beach. After sauntering down the pier and watching the surfers and the lifeguards... well, Taylor (our 15-year-old daughter) is going to be sorry she didn't come when she sees the pictures! Plus, there's Navy guys all over. Nice :)
