From Tillamook we started our northward journey along the Oregon Coast. We passed back through Rockaway Beach and some other small towns before we made our next stop...Neahkahnie Beach. The winds were blowing strong as we walked along the beach but the sun was peeking through the clouds and it was turning out to be a beautiful day to travel along the coast. We stopped by the scenic overlook on Neahkahnie Mountain that looked back down towards the beach and out across the ocean.  After stops at some more scenic overlooks as well as Hug Point we continued on toward the Oregon-Washington line. We crossed over the Astoria-Megler bridge...which stretches 4.1 miles from Astoria, Oregon, across the mouth of the Columbia River, to Point Ellice, Washington.
